Teaching Philosophy

During my career I have been fortunate to have had many incredible teachers and coaches. They have challenged and inspired me to always delve deeper into my art with passion and a thirst for knowledge and understanding. The best of these teachers have taught through simplicity and given me the tools to explore through my own experience. I will be forever grateful.

My goal is to teach from my own experience, to continue to learn, and to ignite other peoples love for movement and art. I try to create an environment that someone feels safe, challenged and respected.

Often we set false limitations for ourselves and never get to fully experience what we are capable of. Sometimes that sounds like “I cant do that,” “That is too hard” or “I will never be able to do…” Our brains are always ready with an excuse not to try hard and not to get out of our comfort zone. Performance Fit Pilates strives to be a place where you can find a community of people that want to dream bigger, work harder and have fun while doing it. It will always be a place where you can “come as you are.”

Helping people set and achieve goals is a great passion. Whether your goal is losing/ gaining weight, becoming more flexible, finding a work out community, getting back into the game after injury, cross training for another sport, stress relief, managing back pain, learning something new… the list is endless. We all have the potential to be more great, to uncover our true being. We work together to achieve your goals with discipline, inspiration, ambition and motivation.

The distance between dreams and reality is called discipline” – anonymous

I envision Performance Fit Pilates as a place where people come to enjoy moving in their bodies, a place of respect, compassion and discipline, a place of learning, lots of fun and of course really great creative workouts and classes!

I look forward to meeting you.

“Be YOUR best you!”
